This is an online 2-hour Risk Assessment for Early Years course, with the learning outcomes in line with the EYFS guidelines. This course is designed to give you all the information on risk assessments within Early Years settings. Risk assessments are an important part of looking after children and young people, and so this course is designed to give you all the knowledge you will need within your Early Years setting. By the end of this course, you will understand the importance of a risk assessment, be able to identify hazards and evaluate risks, describe how to carry out a risk assessment and be able to explain the process. The course content has been developed in line with national Health and Safety guidelines and the EYFS Statutory Framework

Who Should Take the Risk Assessment for Early Years Course?

 
The Risk Assessment for Early Years course is aimed at anyone working within an Early Years setting, such as nursery staff, teachers, and childminders. 

 

Assessment and Certification 


Throughout this online course, there will be a range of learning styles used with interactive quizzes, video, and audio features to help you gain the knowledge and understanding of risk assessments within an Early Years setting. You will be able to complete the course at your own pace, whilst testing your knowledge as you progress through the course content. This online course can be completed on any PC or mobile device, and you can log in and out of the course as often as you want to. There will be self-checks after each section, and at the end of the course, there will be a multiple-choice assessment and achieving over 70% to pass the course. 

 

Upon successful completion, learners will be able to download their certificates to show that they have completed and passed the course. This Risk Assessment for Early Years course is approved by the CPD Accreditation Group and qualifies for 2 CPD points.
